Pottery Auction Rules
In order to participate in bidding, each online attendee must agree to the rules and regulations presented before bidding.
Betsy Jean’s Traveling Roots reserves the right to add or withdraw auction items without notice.
A valid bid is considered made by clicking on the desired item, typing in a valid bid that adheres to the increment guidelines (i.e., $5 minimum), and pressing submit.
There will be a five minute warning that will be announced when the auction is closing.
No bidding wars allowed. Bidder with the closest time stamp on 2/9/23 at 5:00pm is declared the winner.
The highest qualifying bid parentheses (i.e., a bid which complies with these auction rules) at the closing time is the winning bid.
Payments for items purchased must be made in full on the night of the auction.
Once the auction is declared closed, the winner will be notified by phone and arrangements will be made to collect their winnings.
Following payment, we will arrange pick up for your winning items. For out of town winners, Betsy Jean’s Traveling Roots is NOT responsible for shipping costs. Shipping price will be $20.
Any items left unclaimed, without prior arrangements, will become property of Betsy Jean’s Traveling Roots even if the bidder has paid for the items. The items will be sold, and proceeds will go to Share The Love.
All sales are final. No refunds or exchanges will be permitted. You are responsible for the safety and security of items once you have claimed them.
The auction item value listed is an estimate of Fair Market Value (FMV). Share The Love is a non-profit organization. Any bid over the value of items is considered a donation and may be tax deductible. Consult your tax advisor to clarify amount of deduction.
